The Day Creek Symphonic Band is our 7th Grade performing group. Students in the Symphonic Band are generally in their third year of experience on their instrument. The Symphonic Band class builds on skills gained in the Concert Band.
Symphonic Band students are eligible to try out for the San Bernardino County Middle School Honor Band. The class prepares students for this audition.
Students in the Symphonic Band will learn seven major scales, as well as other intermediate level musical techniques. They will perform music in a variety of styles, and from different historical periods.
Students are expected to practice approximately 20 minutes per day. Practice expectations will be posted on this page for student and parents to reference. |
